St. John
National park beaches, an underwater snorkel trail, and the small town of Cruz Bay.
More than half of St. John is national park, which keeps its north shore green and its beaches uncrowded by Caribbean standards. Trunk Bay has a marked underwater snorkel trail, and Maho Bay is known for sea turtles grazing on the seagrass.
Cruz Bay is the island’s small, lively town, good for a wander and a meal ashore before heading back to the boat.
