Anegada
A flat coral island ringed by reef, with miles of quiet beach.
Anegada looks nothing like the rest of the BVI. It’s low, sandy and surrounded by Horseshoe Reef, one of the largest barrier reefs in the Caribbean. The north shore beaches, like Loblolly Bay and Cow Wreck Beach, are long, empty and impossibly blue.
Getting there depends on wind and sea conditions, so Kieran decides on the day. When it works, it’s often the highlight of the week, and dinner is grilled lobster straight off the boat.
